Job Description
- Install, maintain, and support district-wide network and server infrastructure, wireless systems,
- Vo
- IP Phones, Cameras, and end-user devices
- Proactively monitor system & network performance, manage security policies, and ensure robust
- backup and disaster recovery protocols
- Management and access for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other core platforms
- Collaborate with the technology team to implement and manage student and staff devices & equipment, including Chromebooks, interactive displays, & desktops
- Advise and coordinate with administration and the technology team on district initiatives, and provide recommendations for infrastructure and software improvements and solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and/or 3+ years of experience in systems administration / IT Support
- Net+, Security+, CCNA or MCSE certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Proficiency in networking, server infrastructure, cybersecurity, firewalls, and cloud management
- Experience with Forti
- Gate, Shortel Ubiquiti, Hyper-V, and/or Active Directory (Preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a refined ability to troubleshoot complex
- technical issues under pressure
- Experience in a K–12 school environment and familiarity with learning management systems and
- educational technology tools (preferred)
- Required criminal history background check.
