Job Description
- Each staff member shall make every effort, within the area of his/her professional expertise, and the scope of certification, to plan and implement an educational program for students with special needs according to district policies, as well as federal and state mandates.
Responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of working with children with disabilities.
- Knowledge of sensory processing disorder and treatment.
- Ability to create sensory diets and train staff accordingly.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited college or university and a standard New Jersey certificate as School Occupational Therapist.
