Interim Superintendent/Principal

• The Deerfield Township Board of Education is seeking applicants for the position of Interim Superintendent/Principal of Schools to work 3 days a week
• Deerfield Township, with a population of 3136 residents, is located in Cumberland County, New Jersey
• The single school houses 350 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through eighth
• The students are served by 46 staff members and supported by a budget of 6.4 million dollars
• High School students attend Cumberland Regional High School or have the option of Cumberland County Technical Education Center
• The Board is seeking an Interim Superintendent/Principal of Schools who has administrative experience
• The successful candidate must have demonstrated expertise in the following:
• Leadership in curriculum, instruction and assessment
• Lead with integrity, transparency and a student first mindset
• Cultivate a supportive and safe learning environment
• Exercise fiscal management
• Communicate clearly, consistently and authentically
• Knowledge of Special Education

Qualifications

• NJ School Administrator certification
• Experience as a Superintendent
