ESL Teacher - Leave Replacement

Valid New Jersey Teacher of English as a Second Language certificate OR NJ Bilingual / Bicultural Education Certification.

Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.

Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary.

Knowledge and understanding of the social, emotional, and academic needs of Multilingual Learners.

The ability to build positive and effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Required Criminal History Check.

Provide proof of US citizenship or legal Resident Alien status by completing Federal Form I-9.

Pass required State Mantoux/Tuberculin test and physical exam as required.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find

appropriate and acceptable.
