Job Description
- The Director of Technology is responsible for the supervision of all technology related services and IT personnel for the district
- The director holds a leadership role in all areas pertaining to technology purchase, services, professional development and curriculum development
- The Director will provide the technical leadership and direction necessary for the development and management of the Technology Services Department to ensure the integration, installation and maintenance of computer technology, LANs and WANs, and telecommunications for the district.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the confidentiality of technology accessible information.
- Ensure compliance with federal laws for student online safety.
- Monitor new technology trends and recommend implementation where appropriate.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Information Technology (IT) content, leadership, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years' experience in technology or related functions preferred.
- Required criminal history background check.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
