Job Description
The Gramon Family of Schools is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Principal for its New Beginnings Program, an Approved Private School for Students with Disabilities (APSSD) serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This leadership role supports the Principal in overseeing instructional programming, behavioral services, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. The Assistant Principal ensures delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and aligned with New Jersey Department of Education requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of IEP-driven, data-based instruction aligned with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Ensure alignment with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and feedback.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Special Education and/or Educational Leadership.
- Valid New Jersey Principal Certification.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience working with students with Autism.
- Experience in ABA-based programming.
