Job Description
- The Gramon Family of Schools is seeking a highly qualified Assistant Principal for its New Beginnings Program, an Approved Private School for Students with Disabilities (APSSD) serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- This leadership role supports the Principal in overseeing instructional programming, behavioral services, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance
- The Assistant Principal ensures delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and aligned with New Jersey Department of Education
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of IEP-driven, data-based instruction aligned with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
- Ensure alignment with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and feedback.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Special Education and/or Educational Leadership.
- Valid New Jersey Principal Certification.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience working with students with Autism.
- Experience in ABA-based programming.
