  • Position Summary
  • The Executive Director of Data, Accountability & Enrollment serves as the district's central leader for data strategy, performance management, accountability systems, and enrollment planning.This role functions as the district's central intelligence unit, ensuring that all decision-making is informed by accurate, timely, and actionable data.The Executive Director is responsible for designing and overseeing systems that collect, analyze, and report performance data; establish accountability structures; and drive enrollment strategy through forecasting, projections, and target-setting.This position ensures that data is translated into meaningful insights that inform instructional decisions, operational planning, and strategic priorities across all departments and schools.Certification

Requirements

  • (NJDOE-Aligned)In accordance with:N.J.A.C. 6A:9BRequired:Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in data analytics, education, public administration, statistics, information systems, or a related field

Qualifications

  • New Jersey School Administrator, Principal, or Supervisor Certificate
  • Advanced degree (Doctorate preferred)Certification or advanced training in data analytics or data systems preferred

Qualifications

  • Data Strategy and Systems Leadership (OWNER)Develop and lead a comprehensive districtwide data strategy aligned to instructional and operational priorities.Establish systems for collecting, managing, and analyzing data across the district

  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools for leadership and schools
  • Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making
  • Performance Data Systems and Analytics (OWNER)Oversee all performance data systems to support instructional improvement and organizational effectiveness.Analyze student achievement, attendance, and school performance data
  • Provide actionable insights to district and school leaders
  • Ensure alignment between data systems and district priorities
  • Support continuous improvement through data analysis
  • Accountability Systems and Reporting (OWNER)Design and manage district accountability systems aligned to state and district expectations.Oversee accountability reporting and compliance

  • Enrollment Strategy, Forecasting, and Target Setting (OWNER)Lead districtwide enrollment planning and forecasting efforts.Develop enrollment projections and demographic analyses
  • Establish enrollment targets aligned to district goals
  • Monitor enrollment trends and adjust strategies as needed
  • Provide insights to inform staffing, budgeting, and program decisions
  • Data Team Leadership and Role Clarity (OWNER)Lead and manage the Data Team as the district's central intelligence function.Ensure the Data Team is responsible for:Enrollment targets
  • Enrollment projections and forecasting

  • Establish clear expectations and accountability for team performance
  • Build capacity within the team to support district needs
  • Cross-Departmental Decision Support (OWNER)Support decision-making across all departments through data analysis and insights.Provide data to support Instruction, Talent, Finance, and Operations
