- Job Title: Teacher of Mathematics Reports To: Supervisor of Mathematics and Building Principal
- Job Purpose: Provides instruction in a manner that fosters attainment of student's maximum potential in mathematics
Qualifications
- Required:NJ Mathematics Teacher Certification (Standard, CEAS, CE)Knowledge of the Student Learning Standards for high school mathematics
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction strategies, monitoring and assessing student progress
- Demonstrated knowledge of teaching mathematics
- Ability to engage and motivate high school students
- Ability to utilize data to provide individualized instruction plans
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Able to speak English clearly and accurately
- Able to incorporate technology in daily lessons
- Able to pass the Criminal History Review and Sexual Misconduct/Child Abuse Disclosure
Qualifications
- Desired:Experience teaching high school students
- Experience using Google Education
- Familiarity with Charlotte Danielson Teaching Framework
