- ANTICIPATED: Supervisor of Humanities, ESL, and World Languages
- Full Time, 12-month, Tenure Track position The Manville School District is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and student-centered educational leader to serve as its next Supervisor of Humanities, ESL, and World Languages
- The successful candidate will provide instructional leadership, support educator growth, and promote excellence in teaching and learning while advancing the district's mission and strategic goals
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid New Jersey Department of Education Supervisor or Principal Certificate
- Valid New Jersey instructional certificate in English, Social Studies, World Languages, or ESL preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards and best practices in curriculum, instruction, and assessment
- Knowledge of effective instructional strategies and evidence-based teaching practices
- Ability to plan, organize, and deliver high-quality professional development
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with staff, students, families, and community stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional leadership and supervision for the Humanities, ESL, and World Languages programs.Observe, coach, supervise, and evaluate instructional staff, providing ongoing feedback and support for professional growth.Lead curriculum development, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with district goals and state standards.Plan and facilitate professional development for Humanities, ESL, and World Languages staff.Collaborate with school and district administrators to strengthen instructional practices and student achievement.Analyze student performance data and support interventions designed to improve learning outcomes.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and program
