  • MAJOR DUTIES AND

Responsibilities

  • Central Registrar (0.5 FTE)Student Registration: Manage and process all student registration requests, enrollments, and withdrawals using Genesis
  • Record Management: Maintain, protect, and archive all official student records to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with data privacy laws like FERPA.Academic Data: Process grades, produce academic transcripts, verify degree/enrollment status, and manage lists of graduates.Policy Enforcement: Interpret and apply institutional policies and state education codes regarding registration and graduation.District Coordination: Communicate with parents/guardians, administration, transportation, technology, and nursing departments to coordinate student arrivals and departures

  • for new hires, open enrollment, and resigning or retiring staff.Data Integration: Collaborate with HR and Payroll to calculate benefit costs and leave adjustments, maintaining accurate records within Systems 3000 Personnel, Payroll, and Accounting modules.Financial Auditing: Audit monthly provider invoices to ensure exact accuracy across Systems 3000, payroll deductions, and insurance portals.Compliance Reporting: Prepare federal, state, and district reports including 1095s, NJ Chapter 44, COBRA updates, Age Out Notifications, Aid-in-lieu, and Buy-Back/Buy-Up reports.Bookkeeping & Receivables: Process payments and track accounts receivables for student activities, sports officials, and scholarship accounts
  • Evaluation: Performance evaluated annually in accordance with Board of Education policy
