- Summer 2026The following position is anticipated for the summer based on student identification for the 7th grade Algebra XL course
- Program Description:To provide instruction on seventh grade topics/standards to prepare identified students for the Algebra XL course for the 2026 - 2027 school year
- This program will ensure that students have all of the necessary skills and understanding important concepts that will prepare them for Algebra I
- The course will be taught virtually from July 20, 2026 to August 20, 2026 with asynchronous digital lessons and live online office
Requirements
- NJ Teaching Certificate for Mathematics, Middle School with Mathematics Specialization in Grades 5-8, or Highly Qualified in Middle School Mathematics
- Experience with the 7th grade curriculum preferred
- Strong technology skills and familiarity with instructional technology tools to effectively provide instruction in a virtual setting
- Provisions: Compensation is in accordance with the hourly rates indicated in the OEA CBA.Rate of Pay: For lesson planning: $51.00 per hour up to 10
