Responsibilities

  • Must attend/complete annual trainings required by the District.Complete required training

Hours

  • of Professional Standards for state and local nutrition programs annually.Maintains a high degree of sanitation in kitchen and cafeteria at all times.Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with customers and co-workers.Responsible for maintaining an efficient, productive, safe, and sanitary work station.Able to list and understand the meal pattern regulations and serving

Requirements

  • established by the Bureau of Child Nutrition.Responsible for storeroom familiarity and first-in first-out procedures.Responsible for assisting with the preparation of the student and faculty meals in a timely manner.Assists in preparing food items, packaging and setting up kiosks.Serve food items during lunch service.Remove used trays, pans, trash, and waste from counters, tables, and other areas, and clean these areas in a sanitary manner.Washes trays and pans and places them in a sanitary location.Count money, record production records and complete deposit slips.Ability to operate food service equipment independently.Performs duties as required for any special functions as directed by the cafeteria manager.Perform all other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager

  • Starts at $15.92Per policy 4125, the district will give preference to qualified individuals who are residents of the Black Horse Pike Regional School District.
