Responsibilities

• Conduct teacher observations and evaluations in accordance with district procedures and state

Requirements

• Support secondary teachers through coaching, modeling, co-planning, and feedback focused on instructional best practices
• Teach secondary ELA intervention classes and provide targeted support to students requiring academic intervention
• Collaborate with the Curriculum & Instruction Department to support curriculum implementation and instructional initiatives
• Analyze student achievement and assessment data to support instructional decision-making and intervention planning
• Assist in the development, revision, and alignment of curriculum and instructional resources
• Support the implementation of district initiatives, professional development, and instructional programs
• Participate in department, grade-level, and intervention meetings as needed
• Monitor and support intervention effectiveness and student progress toward academic goals
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student achievement and growth
• Support new teachers and instructional staff through mentoring and ongoing instructional guidance
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to instructional programs and evaluations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Curriculum & Instruction or Superintendent

Qualifications

• Valid NJDOE Supervisor, Principal, or School Administrator certification
• Teacher of English Certification
• At least five years of successful, full-time teaching

• Range
• $87,723-$119,500 commensurate with experience Comprehensive
