Social Worker

• Description: Experience with early childhood and counseling/working with family engagement agencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build working relationships with students, families and administrators
• Determine family needs, provide advocacy services, and help obtain available community services
• Coordinate the Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC), evaluate the needs of families, coordinate systematic parent involvement workshops, conduct small group sessions with students centered around SEL needs, modeling exemplar practices
• Experience with social media an asset

Qualifications

• Elementary/Early Childhood Education, NJ State Certificate in School Counseling Experience:Minimum of (3) years teaching experience in preschool and/or elementary school.Knowledge of preschool age group, understanding of the RTI framework, strong background in student behavior management, counseling/socials skills groups and community outreach.2026 - 2027 Terms of Employment: Base
