Teacher Assistant

• Full-Time Teacher Assistant
• Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology - Westampton Campus
• Position Summary:BCIT is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team full-time
• The ideal candidate will support classroom instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics, assisting teachers in delivering effective lessons and supporting student learning
• Experience working with young adults is preferred

Qualifications

• High School diploma and one of the following:Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher learning
• Associate's degree (or higher)Meeting rigorous standards through formal assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction or readiness (Para Professional Praxis Exam)Knowledge of appropriate classroom practices and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience working with young adults preferred
