Qualifications

• NJ Department of Education Substitute Teacher Certification Required
• Visit the NJ Department of Education Certification website to apply for or renew your substitute certification!Law Enforcement Experience preferred
• Graduation from a Police Academy
• Responsible for monitoring access to the school building
• Knowledge of security measures, fire prevention, and crowd control
• Ability to maintain order and to work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis management

Salary

• Substitute are employed at the per diem rate of $160.00 with a maximum of four (4) days per week
