Responsibilities

• Include: Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's strengths and needs
• Modify English curriculum materials and assessments to meet students' individualized goals.Use a variety of instructional techniques and assistive technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly; maintain accurate and timely records.Collaborate with general education teachers,case managers , counselors, and families to support student success.Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities.Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education laws and regulations.Exhibits knowledge of performance-based instruction and assessment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in related field
• Valid NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard Teacher Certification with Special Education/and or English endorsement
• NJ Criminal History
• Work authorization in the U.S.Tuberculosis Test
