Responsibilities

• Include: Delivering comprehensive science education to students, fostering a deep understanding of scientific principles, and preparing students for future academic pursuits
• Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans in various science disciplines, such as Chemistry, tailored to the appropriate grade level aligning with the NJ state standards integrating inquiry-based and hands-on learning experiences.Oversee laboratory sessions, ensuring safe and effective experiments that enhance theoretical knowledge through experimental application
• Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Work closely with fellow teachers, support staff, and administrators to enhance instructional practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active learning
• Engage in ongoing professional learning to stay current with scientific education and best practices

Requirements
