Job Details
- Job Title: District Driver (Part-Time)Reports To: Director of Transportation/Director of Vocational Education and CTE Job Purpose: To safely transport PACE students to instructional classes and activities
Qualifications
- Required: High School diploma
- NJ Class B Operator's License - School Bus and Passenger
- Ability to drive a school bus and passenger van in all types of weather conditions
- Able to pass the required Criminal History Review
- Able to pass the Sexual Misconduct/Child Abuse Disclosure Process
- Able to pass pre-employment physical examination
- Duties/
Responsibilities
- Safely transport PACE students to training sites
- Properly care for and secure district vehicle
- Obeying all traffic laws and maintaining legal speeds
- Ability to drive for an extended period of time
- Working Conditions:Daytime Availability
- Transportation Office
- PACE Training/Worksites
- Morning, Midday and afternoon runs daily
- Stipend: $100 per day
- Dates: September 2026 - June 2027NTE 150 days
