SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER: PRESCHOOL DISABLED

• 2026-2027 School Year
• Special Education Preschool: disabled children 3 and 4 years old NJ Department of Education Certification Required
• Teacher of the Handicapped or
• Preschool - Grade 3 certificate plus Students with Disabilities certificate or
• Elementary School Teacher K - 8 or K - 6 certificate with 2 years teaching preschool plus Students with Disabilities certification orqualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program

Qualifications

• Holder of a Certificate of Eligibility instructional certificate must complete the 50 hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education
• Demonstrates ability to implement an IEP effectively
• Demonstrates knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
