- Teacher of the Handicapped or
- Elementary School Teacher K - 8 plus Students with Disabilities certification or
- Elementary School Teacher K - 6 plus Students with Disabilities certification or
- Preschool - Grade 3 plus Students with Disabilities certification orqualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program
Qualifications
- Holder of a Certificate of Eligibility instructional certificate must complete the 50 hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education
- Demonstrates ability to implement an IEP effectively
- Demonstrates knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
