• Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C)The Oceanport Board of Education has an opening for a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C) effective 9/1/2026.Required Certification:Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant Certificate
• NJ Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (Grades K-6)Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped (preferred)Successful Candidates Must Possess the Following: A passion for student success
• Ability conducting evaluations and completing written reports
• Strong background in teaching literacy concepts, including fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary acquisition
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with the NJ Student Learning Standards
• Experience analyzing data and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
• Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a Child Study Team
• Strong communication skills with parents/guardians
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state special education laws and regulations
• Knowledge of and experience using assessment tools such as the WJ-V and WIAT-4

Salary

• $64,785 - $65,535
