- 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAROPEN POSITIONS - SWIM INSTRUCTORSAs a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center (NAC), the Swim Instructor is responsible forproviding students with a safe, enjoyable and educational water program while continuing to relateto the needs of the aquatic patrons as a whole
- He or she will also be responsible for monitoringactivities within the swim class to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Current certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate and a current WSI certificate through the American Red Cross.
- Ability to lead a safe, educational and enjoyable swim class for people of all ages, fitness levels, and capabilities.
- Ability to save lives and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations in and around the pool.
- The physical, visual and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; that being to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations by providing prompt and effective service when needed.Rate subject to experience, certification and qualification will be $19.00-$23.50 per hour.APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
