- OFFICE OF THE SUPERINTENDENT2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR OPEN POSITIONSARC LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR SWIM INSTRUCTORAs a staff member at the Neptune Aquatic Center (NAC), the Lifeguard Instructor is responsible for providing students with a safe, enjoyable and educational water program while continuing to relate to the needs of the aquatic patrons as a whole
- Students must meet all lifeguard instructor
Requirements
- and updates as outlined by the American Red Cross, no crossover certificates will be accepted and in good standing with the American Red Cross
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Current certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instruction.
- Current Base Level American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate.
- Ability to lead a safe, educational and enjoyable lifeguard class for qualified individuals.
- Ability to save lives and respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations in and around the pool.
- The physical, visual and auditory abilities to perform the essential functions of the job; that being to prevent accidents and provide assistance should an emergency situation arise.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage difficult or emotional situations by providing prompt and effective service when needed
- Remuneration will be at the rate of $35.00 per hour
