Qualifications

• Teacher of the Handicapped required ORSecondary Instructional Certification (Teacher of Mathematics preferred) with Teacher of Students with Disabilities required
• Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students preferred
• High level skills in the collection of data and anecdotal notes to provide evidence of student growth and implementation of differentiated and targeted instruction to meet the specific needs of all learners
• Knowledge of the NJSLS in core subject areas
• Experience working with students in special class programs
• Experience in integrating technology to enhance instruction
• Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations
