Qualifications

• Minimum Certification requirement: Substitute Teacher
• Coaching Experience
• Head Coach Positions - At least 5 years of successful coaching experience in the sport required.Assistant Coach Positions - Successful coaching experience preferred.Employment in District
• Full-time teaching assignment in Middletown Township Public Schools preferred.Sports Management
• Ability to proactively manage student academic and behavioral support, scheduling, budgeting, equipment and materials.Sports Knowledge
• Proficiency in the technical aspects of the sport being coached, including the latest training and conditioning techniques to ensure the safety of the student athlete.Post-Secondary Sports Knowledge
• Firm understanding of the process of preparing high school student athletes for college level competition
• Ability to assist in college searches and provide recommendations for the qualified student athletes
