- We serve approximately 12,300 students and have a dedicated and extraordinary staff, including approximately 1,270 certificated staff and 640 non-certificated staff
- General Description:The District Director of Curriculum and Instruction is a senior level administrative position which provides oversight, guidance and support in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to the building level administrators, curriculum supervisors, as well as the district level leadership to achieve the educational goals approved by the BOE
- Nature and Scope of Position: This position leads the development, organization, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the Curriculum and Instruction for grades PK-12 to ensure that all students meet and exceed the New Jersey Student Learning Standards
- Achieving excellence requires that the Director works collaboratively to lead and nurture members of the staff, and communicates effectively with district departments, principals, parents, members of the community, and colleagues both in and out of the district
Qualifications
- Possess or Eligible for the New Jersey School Administrator certificate
- Valid New Jersey Principal certificate
- Masters Degree from an accredited institution (College or University)Minimum five (5) years teaching experience
- Minimum of three (3) years administrative experience
- Effective : 2026-2027 School year
