Interim Middle School Vice Principal

• Caldwell-West Caldwell Public Schools is currently seeking an Interim Vice Principal at Grover Cleveland Middle School effective as soon as possible

Qualifications

• A New Jersey Principal Certificate
• Prior administrative and/or supervisory experience required
• Candidates must demonstrate:Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional strategies and successful experience observing, mentoring and coaching teachers to improve instruction;The ability to provide effective instructional leadership, maintaining school-wide focus on student achievement and supporting all teachers and staff;The ability to relate well to students, staff, and community in a collaborative, environment rooted in shared decision making;A relentless work ethic and commitment to student achievement;Thorough knowledge of the NJSLS, curriculum design, implementation of inspirational strategies and integration of technology;A positive behavioral approach to discipline which encourages students to develop core values that guide their interactions with peers, staff and all members of the school community;Experience coordinating group test administration and conducting staff training on required standardized assessments;Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary
