• Application Deadline: June 11, 2026Available: September 1, 2026 Posting Date: May 21, 2026 The district is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and collaborative Literacy Teacher Coach to support K-3 classroom teachers in implementing high-quality literacy instruction aligned with the New Jersey Department of Education literacy standards and best practices in early childhood and elementary education.The Literacy Teacher Coach will work directly with teachers and administrators to improve instructional practices, strengthen student literacy outcomes, and support a comprehensive approach to reading and writing instruction

Qualifications

• NJ Reading Specialist Certification & NJ K-5 or P-3 Certification Candidate must hold or be eligible for NJ Early Literacy Specialist endorsement Ability to work in a collaborative setting
• Knowledge of NJSLS and curricular expectations at all grade levels (grades K-3) and all content areas
• Knowledge of research-based instructional strategies
• Experience delivering professional development workshops to adults
• Experience with coaching and supporting teachers
• Collaborative, open-minded, reflective, and organized
• Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills
• Extra duties as assigned by the building Principal Strong background preferred in:Science of Reading practices
• Foundational literacy skills
• Guided reading and small-group instruction
• Reading and writing workshop models
• Assessment-driven instruction
• Intervention strategies for struggling readers
