- Thrive Charter School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-centered High School Mathematics Teacher (Grades 9-12) to join our instructional team
- The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in applying math to real-world situations.Position Overview
- The Grades 9-12 Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based instruction in high school mathematics courses
- This includes supporting students in foundational and advanced math skills while preparing them for graduation

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in high school mathematics
- Teach courses such as Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and/or other math electives as assigned
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress
- Develop and administer formative and summative assessments
- Support students in developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Provide remediation and enrichment opportunities as needed
- Create a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with special education staff to support inclusion and student accommodations
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or related field (required)NJDOE certification in Secondary Mathematics (or eligible for certification) required
- Experience teaching high school students preferred
- Strong content knowledge in Algebra, Geometry, and upper-level mathematics
- Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners

Qualifications
- Experience with data-driven instruction and intervention strategies
- Familiarity with NJ Student Learning Standards for Mathematics
- Experience supporting inclusion classrooms and collaborating with special education staff
- Ability to integrate technology into math instruction
