- The Manager of Welcome Center & Family Access is responsible for the day-to-day operation, coordination, and continuous improvement of the district's centralized Welcome Center and family-facing access systems.This role ensures that all families experience a clear, efficient, welcoming, and supportive entry point into the school district.The Manager oversees registration support, family assistance services, and front-line communication systems, ensuring that families can easily access information, enroll students, and connect to services.This position plays a critical role in shaping the district's first impression and ongoing relationship with families, ensuring that access is equitable, responsive, and aligned to enrollment, attendance, and student support priorities

- Required:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Preferred / Additional
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in social work, counseling, education, public administration, or related field
- New Jersey Supervisor Certificate or administrative certification (preferred, not required)Certification or training in case management, family services, or related field
- Bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum:Three (3) years of experience in student services, social services, counseling, or family support
- Two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in:Case management and service coordination
- Family engagement and support systems
- Working with diverse and high-need populations
- Strong knowledge of:Community resources and service providers
- Barriers to student success (housing, health, attendance, etc.)Ability to:Build relationships with families and partners

Responsibilities
- Welcome Center Operations (OWNER)Oversee daily operations of the district's Welcome Center.Ensure efficient, organized, and welcoming service delivery
- Manage workflows for:Family inquiries
- Registration support
- General assistance
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service for all families Family Access & Customer Service Systems (OWNER)Ensure families can easily access district services and information.Establish and maintain a family-centered service model

- Reduce barriers to access for families Registration Support Coordination (OWNER)Support enrollment and registration processes.Coordinate with Enrollment Department to support:Student registration

- Ensure seamless handoff between Welcome Center and enrollment teams Front-Line Staff Supervision & Development (OWNER)Lead and manage Welcome Center staff.Supervise front-line staff and ensure strong performance

- $115,000.00 Residency Requirement
- Under New Jersey's "New Jersey First Act" (N.J.S.A. 52:14-7), all employees of New Jersey public school districts must maintain bona fide New Jersey residency as a condition of employment
- Candidates must already reside in New Jersey or establish residency within the required timeframe after hire
- Current employees who were hired on or before September 1, 2011areexemptfrom this requirement and may continue to reside outside the state
- In limited circumstances, applicants may request a residency waiver through the state's Employee Residency Review Committee if they can demonstrate critical need or hardship; approval is not guaranteed
