Job Details
- The Toms River Regional Board of Education has an anticipated opening for the following position: Substitute Athletic Trainer Valid NJ Board of Medical Examiners License and NJ Athletic Trainer Endorsement on Educational Services Certificate required
- Candidate must possess First Aid and CPR certification as determined by the board as well as knowledge of all facets of injury management, human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics
- Candidate must have the ability to provide injury prevention education, emergency care and reconditioning therapies for athletes
- In addition, candidates are required to coordinate care with appropriate personnel including physicians, supervisors, district athletic trainers, school nurses, coaches and parents as necessary
- Required criminal history check, fingerprinting and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status as well as immunization documentation.
