Qualifications

• Must possess a New Jersey Principal Certificate (CE or Standard).Proven experience as an educational leader with a team-oriented commitment to deeper learning, a culture of inquiry, data-informed decision-making, and collaboration.Deep understanding of curriculum development, NJSLS and NJSLA, assessment, data analysis, and instructional coaching.Commitment to and experience with MTSS.Strong understanding of best practices in literacy, math, and STEAM.Experience leading faculty meetings.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Successful experience as a supervisor or principal preferred.Knowledge of and experience with I&RS and 504's
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.Key

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, revision, and implementation of curricula, ensuring alignment with NJSLS.Plan, design, and deliver professional-development opportunities in collaboration with faculty and administrative leadership team.Promote student-centered learning and instructional strategies that are rooted in research and best practices.Oversee observation and evaluation practices in the district.Support decision-making with data, and provide data analysis to support ongoing progress
• Oversee state-mandated data submissions and reporting.Serve in other district leadership roles, including liaison to the Board's Student Achievement Committee and to the regional articulation team
