- The Toms River Regional Board of Education anticipates an opening for the following PART TIME position: ELEMENTARY ESL BASIC SKILLS TEACHER(Elementary Level)The Elementary English as a Second Language (ESL) Basic Skills program provides literacy intervention and remediation to ESL students
- Knowledge of the workshop model, SIOP based instruction, intervention strategies, and the ability to use language proficiency data to inform instruction preferred
Qualifications
- Elementary Education Certificate
- ESL Endorsement preferred but not required
- Knowledge of instructional strategies that support language acquisition to meet the needs of ESL students
- Familiarity with district's ELA curriculum and instructional programs
- Teachers will receive a per diem rate (voucher pay).Location, calendar and schedule to be determined.
