- Before & After School Program Recreation Aides** Part-Time Position **Job Summary:Responsible for the safety and well-being of all before and after school care program students
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a group of elementary school age students
- Plan and implement various recreation activities for the students, as well as, assist with homework
- Be aware of every child's whereabouts at all times
- Communicate any and all incidents concerning the well-being of the children to supervisor
- Must be organized and professional
Hours
- vary from 6:30 AM - 9:15 AM & 2:30 PM - 6:00 PMMust be available to work 5 days a week when school is in session
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- High School Diploma is preferred (current high school students may apply upon completion of an approved child care course or with prior work experience with school aged children)Some college credits in education or related field preferred
- Prior experience with school age children in excess of a year is preferred Pay: From $17 per hour
