  • The Early Childhood Principal serves as the instructional leader for the district's Early Childhood Program, including Preschool (general education and Preschool Students with Disabilities), Kindergarten, and Grade 1
  • The Principal is responsible for the planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of all educational programming and operations at the early childhood level
  • This role ensures alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards, and compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations including the Individuals and Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Preschool Expansion Aid (PEA)
