Requirements

• Completion of 30 semester-hour credits;
• Credits must be completed at an accredited college or university at the time of application;
• Credential is valid for five (5) years from the date of issuance.Applicants are at least 18 years of age
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.All substitute credential applicants must now initiate their applications online through the NJEd
