• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of math instruction, differentiated learning, inclusive educational practices, and collaborative teaching models to support diverse learners in a middle school setting
• The ideal candidate is committed to creating a positive, engaging, and academically rigorous classroom environment that promotes student growth, independence and confidence

Qualifications

• Math (K-12) or Elementary School (or documented eligible for the same) Ability to work in a collaborative setting and co-teaching setting Knowledge and understanding of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards A philosophical and practical understanding of differentiated instruction and a balanced instructional math program Broad knowledge of integrated math concepts within other content areas Ability to differentiate instruction, learning activities and assessments based on individual student learning needs Capacity to analyze student performance data to guide instructional planning and intervention Practical knowledge of current, research-based, effective educational practices
