Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or one of the STEAM content areas of Science or Math.NJ Teaching certification is Science or Math
• Three or more years of experience in classroom teaching.Must have a basic proficiency in using tools, software, or equipment related to STEAM (e.g., 3D printing, simple circuitry, coding languages)High emotional intelligence (EQ), adaptability, strong group communication, and a passion for fostering curiosity.Proficiency in subjects like coding (Python, Scratch), robotics, and digital design.Criminal history background check and proof of U.S

• Student Guidance: Foster a constructivist learning environment by acting as a guide, helping students troubleshoot roadblocks rather than just giving them the answers.Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for youth.Leading creative exercises like building and racing LEGO boats, coding Sphero Indi cars, and exploring Augmented Reality.Partnering with traditional classroom teachers to align mobile activities with state science and math standards.Proficiency in subjects like coding (Python, Scratch), robotics, and digital design.Materials Management: Set up, maintain, and organize STEAM supplies, equipment, and technology
