Responsibilities

• New Jersey Instructional Certificate (K-12 English Certification)Minimum three years of instructional experience in Literacy; Masters degree in Education required
• History of coaching both new and experienced teachers preferred
• Strong knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards
• Work closely with teachers to implement high-quality practices to improve literacy instruction
• Ensure the implementation of a quality, standards-based curriculum and literacy interventions
• Provide professional development through coaching and modeling to increase the number of effective or highly effective teachers within the school
