• Experience in law enforcement and/or in the security field;Aptitude for and competence in performing the assigned

• Patrol school building and/or grounds to prevent or curtail any situation which may endanger the safety and welfare of the students or staff, including theft, vandalism, illegal entry, altercations, fire, etc.;Conduct patrol inspections of doorways, stairwells, hallways, lavatories, and school grounds to determine that they are secure from any unauthorized activities;Confront unauthorized persons for questioning; route or detain them or call police for assistance, according to Board and/or School policy;Make written reports of security violations;Operate and understand the Video Surveillance System;Perform such other tasks and assume such other
