- A full time, tenure track Middle School Math teacher position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, effective 9/1/2026
- The Guttenberg School District is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate educator with a love for mathematics to join our school community
- Essential Duties &
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective instruction in math.Develop lesson plans aligned with the NJSLS and district curriculum.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, emotional, and developmental needs of students.Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, educational technologies, and assessment methods to enhance student learning.Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate and timely grading records.Foster a classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, collaboration, and active participation.Participate in yearly professional development in an effort to meet district-approved goals and objectives.Collaborate with a math grade level partner to align pacing and scope and sequence
Qualifications
- Required: Middle School with Subject-Matter Specialization: Mathematics in Grades 5-8 Endorsement Code 1102
- Classroom experience preferred.
- Bilingual speaking abilities are a plus.
