- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned science instruction grounded in NGSS Facilitate student-driven investigations, discourse and hands-on learning experiences Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Collaborate with grade-level and content teams to analyze data and strengthen instructional practices Maintain a structured, safe and inclusive classroom environment Communicatee effectively with students, families and colleagues
- NJ Certification in Science (Middle School or appropriate grade level) Demonstrated experience implementing Open

- Ed or similar phenomenon-based science curriculum Strong understanding of NGSS and three-dimensional instruction and assessment Ability to integrate literacy and mathematical practices within science instruction Strong classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience working in a middle school setting Experience supporting diverse learners, including multilingual learners and students with IEP's Familiarity with data-driven instructional practices
