Responsibilities
- Provide inclusion support to students with IEP's within Grade 5 Math and ELA classrooms
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers to plan and deliver differentiated instruction Develop, implement and monitor IEP goals aligned to grade-level standards
- Use data to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Provide small-group and individualized instruction as needed Maintain compliance with all special education documentation and timelines Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings Support positive behavior strategies and social-emotional learning as part of the inclusion model Valid State Certification in Special Education (Grades 1-6 or appropriate certification)Experience with inclusion/co-teaching models preferred Strong knowledge of Grade 5 Math and ELA standards Ability to differentiate instruction and implement accommodations and modifications Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills Commitment to equity, inclusion and student-centered learning
