• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Experience teaching middle school students (preferred)Strong knowledge of second language acquisition strategies

• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Preferred Experince Experience working in urban or diverse school settings
• Familiarity with SEL practices and restorative approaches

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based Spanish instruction for grades 9-12Develop engaging lessons that promote communication and language acquisition
• Integrate cultural components into daily instruction
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with IEPs and 504 Plans
• Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction
• Maintain a positive classroom environment with effective management strategies
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and administration
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, including Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programs
• Supervise students during assigned duties (e.g., lunch, recess, hallway transitions)Strong classroom management and consistency with setting rituals and routines
