Qualifications

  • Valid teaching or administror certification.Experience administering and interpreting Cog
  • AT Screener.Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners.Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.Knowledge of gifted education theory, instructional strategies, and assessment practices

Responsibilities

  • Program Management & Strategy: Lead the development, execution, and continuous evaluation of comprehensive district-wide G&T services and specialized academic pathways
  • Student Identification: Establish fair, comprehensive assessment processes and evaluation protocols to identify gifted learners, and communicate these results to teachers and parents.Instruction & Curriculum: Collaborate with content departments to design individualized learning plans (ILPs), acceleration models, and enriching interdisciplinary units of study.Professional Development: Design and deliver research-based training to help classroom teachers differentiate instruction and support the specific social and emotional needs of gifted learners.Compliance & Advocacy: Monitor programs for compliance with state laws and district policies, oversee budgets, and secure funding or grant opportunities
