- START DATE: July 1, 2026 POSITION SUMMARYThe School Business Administrator/Board Secretary serves as the chief financial and operational officer of the district and is responsible for overseeing all business functions, financial management, facilities operations, transportation, food services, risk management, purchasing, and Board of Education support services
- The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Superintendent, Board of Education, district administrators, staff, and community stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective district operations that support student achievement

Responsibilities
- Serve as Board Secretary to the Board of Education and attend all Board meetings.Develop, monitor, and administer the district budget in collaboration with the Superintendent.Prepare and present financial reports, budget updates, and fiscal analyses to the Board of Education.Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local financial regulations and reporting

Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey School Business Administrator Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility (CE) required.Demonstrated knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting principles, financial reporting procedures, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Experience in budget preparation, administration, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.Knowledge of New Jersey school law, regulations, and reporting
