Qualifications
- Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification and Elementary School Teacher certification OR Teacher of the Handicapped certification
Responsibilities
- Provide coordination and leadership in the classroom
- Demonstrate knowledge of effective teaching methods & developmentally appropriate classroom activities
- Implement appropriate accommodations and modifications as per student IEPCompletion of progress monitoring for IEP goals and objectives
- Deliver individualized and group instruction and other educational objectives
- Collaborate with other professionals
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
