• The Burlington County Special Services School District operates an Extended School Year (ESY) program
• Participation is optional, and all employees interested in working during ESY will need to apply for the postings for the 2025-2026 school year.ESY Staff Commitment Requirement:Staff applying for ESY positions must commit to working the entire program
• Partial availability will not be considered due to the need for instructional continuity for students
• Staff interested only in providing substitute coverage should indicate this with their supervisor and still apply.Selection of ESY Staff:Criteria:District seniority
• Alignment of classification with student needs, as determined by the Administrative Team
• One-on-One Assistants considered based on the student's IEP to promote instructional continuity and support
• Employee performance and attendance record during the regular school year
• Additional consideration may also be given to prior ESY performance.A staff member may be selected even if they have less seniority than other applicants if their classification or

• Please note: There will be no compensation for any day not worked during ESY
• Staff salaries will be calculated on a daily/per diem rate as follows:Teacher rate: $319 per diem
• Teacher Assistant rate: $142 per diem Rate per Negotiated Agreement
