• Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology - Westampton Campus
• Position Summary
• Burlington County Institute of Technology is seeking a qualified and student-centered Guidance Counselor to join our team
• The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Educational Services Certificate with a School Counselor Endorsement (2702) and demonstrate the ability to effectively support students' academic, career, and social-emotional development within a secondary school setting

Qualifications

• Valid NJDOE Educational Services Certificate with School Counselor Endorsement (2702) (required)Prior guidance counseling experience preferred
• Knowledge of computerized master schedule development (desirable)Broad knowledge of:Testing and evaluation practices
• Individual and group guidance theories and techniques
• Secondary school guidance program design
• Career education, exploration, and placement
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, parents, staff, and community organizations
